Naturopathic

Naturopathic medicine is a primary health care system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The main objective in naturopathic medicine is to stimulate the innate healing power of the body in order to treat the whole person – that means mind, body, and spirit.

Instead of focusing on symptoms, which are warning signs from the body, the root cause of disease is explored and treated. This is done with a thorough initial intake that examines health history, lifestyle habits, chief complaints and current symptoms. This allows the formation of an individualized health plan that is best suited for the patient. In addition to diet and lifestyle changes, natural therapies including botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, and Chinese medicine, may also be used during treatments. This holistic approach provides many resources that can fit any individual’s busy lifestyle and schedule, while ensuring long-term maintenance of good health.
