Chiropractic is a primary care profession that focuses on the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions related to the body’s muscles, joints, and nervous system. It is an evidence-based healthcare discipline that utilizes non-invasive and hands-on treatment techniques.

What to expect on your first visit?

In addition to utilizing orthopedic and clinical examinations, our chiropractor will incorporate movement-based or functional assessments to better diagnose musculoskeletal disorders and poor movement patterns. Once the cause of pain or poor movement pattern is fully assessed and diagnosed, the chiropractor will prescribe an appropriate and timely treatment plan that aligns with patient goals and preferences.

Do I have to get an adjustment from the chiropractor?

There is no pressure to be adjusted by the chiropractor.

After a thorough assessment, your chiropractor will review the findings of your exam and provide you with a diagnosis. The chiropractor will then discuss an appropriate treatment plan based on the best available evidence, clinician expertise and with heavy consideration of patient preference and goals. Spinal Manipulative Therapy may or may not be indicated in your particular scenario.
