As promised this week I am going to talk about my experience with Timeline Therapy. I just had a session today and Elaine and I were laughing about this because I have no idea what to tell you.

My most consistent experience is that my brain is mush, I can’t remember anything that happened during the session and most of the time I need sleep. Lots of sleep.
˙
Today is no different.
˙
At some point Elaine asked me how I feel about my decision and my response was “I don’t remember what the decision was”. Elaine laughed and said good. Apparently that’s a typical response.

What is actually happening is neural connections are being rewritten. There are physical changes taking place in the brain. Connections to a belief or a feeling are changed somehow (I think there may be magic involved but I’m sure Elaine would say it’s science). This allows me to then make new connections with a healthier, more balanced belief or feeling.

What I find most fascinating is how many of my beliefs and feelings are following me from before I was born—issues created in the womb, in past lives and from genealogical history. I’m not surprised, I deal with past lives in my spiritual work all the time. It’s just fascinating.

Oh…and I ugly cry. If you’re going to give this a go, come prepared with tissues and maybe water. There is no need for pens and paper though. There are no notes to take. You won’t remember anyway.

After suffering an athletic back injury, Sapphira experienced the many benefits massage therapy had to offer and felt passionate about helping others manage their pain and physical dysfunction. Sapphira graduated from CCMH in 2013 leading her to a successful and rewarding career as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Our therapists are trained to understand Swedish massage at an advanced level. However, there are many different variations that can be added to your treatment, in order to give you the best standard of care.
🔹Therapeutic Massage
A general approach to massage where you will benefit from increased circulation, decreased muscle tension and decreased stress.
🔹Pre & Post Natal Massage
Massage can be extremely beneficial for expectant mothers. We even have pregnancy tables in our treatment rooms so that you can have the comfort of lying face down in order to enjoy the treatment fully.
🔹Deep Tissue Massage
This treatment involves the therapist using more pressure to break down knots or scar tissue that have developed in the muscles.  Our therapists will check in with you throughout the treatment to establish a level of comfort.
🔹Sports Massage
This treatment will provide a more focused approach to any areas that need attention due to sports and training involvement. The muscles benefit from being flushed with increased pressure to break down toxins. This will help with recovery time for the athlete.
🔹Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger, also known as myofascial trigger points, are areas of the muscle that are hypersensitive and contain nodules that are palpable within the muscle belly.  When the trigger point is compressed, you might feel pain, tenderness and the referral pattern. Your therapist will explain what you should expect to feel.
🔹Myofascial Release
Myofascial tissue is elastic, but also thin and tough, unlike a muscle. It restricts the underlying muscle from recovering at a fast rate. A therapist can release the fascia and speed up the healing process.
